Overview
Dragon’s Rhythm is a local-first health and fitness app. You do not need to create an account or sign in to use it. DragonBuilds does not operate a server account containing your Dragon’s Rhythm records and does not receive the health, fitness, routine, or progress information you enter into the app.
Data stored on your device
Depending on the features you use, Dragon’s Rhythm may store information such as medications and schedules, meals and nutrition, activities and workouts, step totals, hydration, sleep, weight and body measurements, habits, program progress, settings, and other check-in data.
This information is stored locally for the app to provide its tracking, planning, program, Coach, and Insights features. Dragon’s Rhythm does not transmit this app data to DragonBuilds.
Health Connect and step tracking
If you enable step syncing and grant permission, Dragon’s Rhythm reads step data through Android Health Connect to display your activity and keep daily step history. Imported step totals are used within the app for tracking and progress features, not for advertising or sale.
You control Dragon’s Rhythm’s access in Health Connect settings and can revoke it at any time. Revoking permission stops future access; it does not itself delete totals already imported into Dragon’s Rhythm. Data held in Health Connect or another connected app is managed separately through that service’s controls.
Beta signup and support
The website signup form collects your Google Play email address, your beta contact agreement, and, if you provide them, your name or nickname, Android device model, and Android version. It also sends the app name, signup source, and policy version so we can identify the request. It does not ask for health records.
Submissions are processed by Formspree and received by DragonBuilds to organize invitations, manage tester access, contact you about testing, and understand device compatibility. Your Google Play email may be added to the app’s Google Play tester list to grant access. Signup information is not sold or used for advertising profiles.
If you submit the support form, Formspree processes your email address, request type, message, app name, policy version, and any optional name, app version, or device details you provide. This support form is separate from beta signup and does not enroll you in the beta. If you email support, we receive your email address and the message or attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond, investigate problems, and improve the app. Please remove sensitive information from reports and screenshots; do not send medication lists, health histories, or progress photos unless you specifically choose to share information needed for your request.
Signup information is kept while needed to manage your beta participation and follow-up. Support messages are kept while needed to resolve and track the issue. You can request removal from beta communications and deletion of signup or support information by emailing dragonsrhythm.support@gmail.com. Copies retained by service providers follow their own retention practices.
A parent or guardian should handle website signup and support communication for a child. If a child’s personal information is submitted unintentionally, contact us to request its removal.
Coach and Insights
Coach and Insights operate internally using data recorded in Dragon’s Rhythm. The app does not send your records, findings, coaching results, or questions to a third-party AI provider or external cloud-processing service.
Progress photos
Progress photos used by Dragon’s Rhythm are stored on the device. Dragon’s Rhythm does not upload progress photos to DragonBuilds. Your operating system or device backup settings may separately back up device or app data according to the services you have enabled.
Backups and exports
Dragon’s Rhythm can create backup or export files. The app does not restrict where you save those files. You may choose to keep them locally, move them to another device, save them to removable storage, send them through another app, or place them in a cloud-storage service.
Once you choose to move or save a backup outside Dragon’s Rhythm, that copy is handled by the destination you selected and is subject to that service or provider’s privacy and security practices. DragonBuilds does not receive your backup merely because you created or exported it.
Youth Mode
Youth Mode can be used independently and follows the same local-first privacy model as the rest of Dragon’s Rhythm. No online account is required, and DragonBuilds does not receive the information entered or generated while Youth Mode is being used.
Dragon’s Rhythm does not use advertising, behavioral tracking, online profiling, or analytics SDKs in Youth Mode. Coach and Insights in Youth Mode also run internally rather than sending youth data to an outside AI service.
If Dragon’s Rhythm is used on a shared device, users should consider the device’s own lock-screen, app-access, backup, and account settings because anyone with access to the device may also be able to access locally stored app information.
DragonBuilds website privacy
The Dragon’s Rhythm pages do not include advertising or site analytics scripts. The beta signup and support forms each send information to their dedicated Formspree form when you submit them. Formspree may process technical information for form delivery and spam prevention under its own privacy policy.
Like most websites, the hosting and network services that deliver the site may process ordinary technical request information such as an IP address, browser or device information, requested pages, and timestamps for delivery, reliability, and security. The site may also load static presentation resources, including Google Fonts, from third-party content providers; those providers may receive standard network request information when those resources are requested.
Third-party services
Dragon’s Rhythm does not include third-party advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, or cloud-AI SDKs that receive your health or fitness records. Services you independently choose to use outside the app, such as an operating-system backup service, cloud-storage provider, email app, or file-sharing service, operate under their own privacy policies. Website submissions are processed by Formspree; beta distribution and tester access use Google Play. The website is hosted through GitHub Pages. These services may process the information necessary to provide their functions.
Deleting your data
Because DragonBuilds does not maintain a server-side Dragon’s Rhythm account or copy of your app records, there is no DragonBuilds account to close or remote app-data profile to delete. You can remove records within the app or uninstall the app to remove app-managed local data, subject to your device and operating system’s own backup and restore behavior.
Website signup and support information can be deleted by request to the contact below. Uninstalling the app does not remove your beta signup or Google Play test membership. Health Connect data is managed separately in Health Connect settings.
Backup or export files you created must be deleted separately from every location where you chose to save or copy them. Copies held by a cloud or backup provider may remain until removed under that provider’s controls and retention rules.
Security
Keeping Dragon’s Rhythm data local reduces the amount of personal data transmitted to outside services, but the security of locally stored information also depends on your device. Device locks, operating-system updates, account security, backup settings, and control over exported files all affect the privacy of your records.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as Dragon’s Rhythm changes. If the app later adds accounts, online synchronization, analytics, cloud processing, advertising, or another feature that materially changes how data is handled, this policy will be updated to describe that change. The effective date at the top of this page will show when the policy was last revised.
