Information you add to MyGarage
MyGarage lets you enter and organize information about vehicles, including vehicle details, notes, maintenance and repair records, modifications, incidents, tires and wheel setups, track times, trips, business or brand information, storage locations, costs, and related photos.
You decide what information to enter. MyGarage does not require a user account for the current closed beta.
Where app data is stored
The current closed-beta version stores MyGarage records locally on your device. DragonBuilds does not operate a user-account system or developer-controlled cloud database for this version of the app.
Photos selected in MyGarage remain files on your device. The app stores references and related record information so those photos can be displayed with the appropriate vehicle or record.
Photos and files
MyGarage may request access to photos or files when you choose to add an image, select a receipt or track slip, create a backup, restore a backup, or export a report. Access is used to complete the action you requested.
Database backups preserve MyGarage records and photo references. They do not include copies of the underlying photo files. You are responsible for separately protecting photos stored on your device.
Camera and image processing
If camera access is offered in a feature, it is used only when you choose to capture an image. MyGarage may analyze a selected receipt or track slip to suggest record values. You should review imported values before saving because automated recognition may be incomplete or incorrect.
Beta signup and Formspree
If you volunteer for the MyGarage closed beta through this website, the signup form may collect the Google Play email address you provide, an optional name or nickname, optional device information, optional vehicle information, and any testing interests you choose to share.
Website beta signup submissions are processed by Formspree so DragonBuilds can receive and organize them. This information is used to manage beta invitations, communicate about testing, and understand the mix of devices and use cases represented in the test. It is not sold or used to build an advertising profile.
You may ask to have your beta signup information removed by contacting mygarage.support@gmail.com. This website signup process is separate from the local vehicle records stored inside the MyGarage app.
Website support requests and Formspree
If you submit a support request through this website, the form may collect your email address, an optional name or nickname, the type of request, optional app and device information, and the problem description or feedback you choose to provide.
Website support submissions are processed by Formspree so DragonBuilds can receive and organize them. The information is used to investigate the request, respond when needed, improve MyGarage, and identify recurring problems. It is not sold or used to build an advertising profile.
You may request deletion of a website support submission by contacting mygarage.support@gmail.com.
Information we do not sell
DragonBuilds does not sell MyGarage user data. The current closed-beta app does not use advertising and is not designed to create an advertising profile from your vehicle records.
Analytics and diagnostics
The current closed-beta version is not intended to transmit your garage records to DragonBuilds for analytics. If you voluntarily submit a website support form or email a support request, DragonBuilds receives the information you choose to provide. Email attachments are received only when you choose to send them.
Data sharing
MyGarage may use Android system features to let you choose a storage location or share an exported file. Information is shared with another app or service only when you select that destination or otherwise initiate the action.
Services provided by your device manufacturer, operating system, email provider, file-storage provider, Formspree, or another app or service are governed by their own privacy policies.
Retention and deletion
App records remain on your device until you delete them, restore a different backup, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app. Deleting a record in MyGarage removes that record according to the app's available delete behavior.
Because MyGarage does not currently use user accounts or a DragonBuilds cloud database, there is no separate online app account to delete. Copies that you exported or backed up outside the app must be deleted from their storage location separately.
For beta signup information or website support requests submitted through the website, you may request deletion by emailing mygarage.support@gmail.com.
Children's privacy
MyGarage is a general vehicle-management application and is not directed to children under 13. DragonBuilds does not knowingly collect children's personal information through a MyGarage account or hosted app service because the current beta has neither.
Security
MyGarage uses the security controls provided by your Android device and the storage locations you choose. No method of electronic storage is completely secure. Protect your device with an appropriate screen lock and store exported backups carefully.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as MyGarage changes, including if cloud backup, accounts, analytics, advertising, or other network services are introduced. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when the policy changes materially.
